School holiday clay days workshop
Are you looking for things to do with the kids during the school holidays that is fun but relaxing too? Something that will trigger their imaginations and get their creative skills going?
Clay days workshops are a great way for you and the kids to spend time together making something fun and functional. Not sure what to make or how to do it? No problem - we will have a facilitator in the studio who can guide you through each step. We have everything you need to get started. The price includes clay, a bisque firing and a glaze firing.
Working in strong, durable stoneware clay, once your piece is fired, it will be microwave and dishwasher proof.
Want to take some clay home? We have a selection of clay and templates for you to buy and work on at home. Then once finished, you can drop them back at the studio for firing, and we will let you know once it’s ready.

Location: Parkway Arts is located in Station Road Studios, which is a secure building. Use OX11 7HX to find the building, and what3words location: ///physical.leader.crispier to locate the red entrance door. Once you arrive, please call 07724311492 so we can swipe you in.
To book, place your order (priced per head) and then email or call us to let us know what date and time you would like. For bookings of more than 6 people, please contact us first.
Remember to wear messy-play clothes and aprons!
Kids must be over 9 years old, and must respect equipment such as the kiln. They must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Occasionally we have support dogs in the building and they may be around when you are. If this presents a problem, please advise beforehand so that we can manage this.
School holiday clay days are available from Tuesday 2 August 2025. Slots are 2 hours. Hours are:
- Mondays 2pm until 4pm,
- Tuesday to Friday, from 10am until 2pm.
